1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the meeting of the Culture, Communications, Welsh Language, Sport and International Relations Committee.
1.2 In accordance with Standing Order 34.19, the Chair determined that the public were excluded from the Committee’s meeting in order to protect public health but that the meeting would be broadcast live on www.senedd.tv.
1.3 The Chair stated that if for any reason she dropped out of the meeting, the Committee had agreed that Heledd Fychan MS would become Temporary Chair in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.
1.4 In accordance with Standing Order 17.24A, Heledd Fychan MS declared a relevant interest: She knows Rhuanedd Richards personally
2 Future of public service media: Ofcom
The Committee heard evidence from Ofcom.
3 Future of public service media: Public service broadcasters
The Committee heard evidence from representatives of BBC Cymru Wales, ITV Cymru Wales, and S4C.
4 Future of public service media: Academics
The Committee heard evidence from representatives of Cardiff University, Ofcom Advisory Committee for Wales, University of South Wales, and TAC (Teledwyr Annibynnol Cymru).

The papers were noted.
6 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of this meeting
The Motion was agreed.
7 Private debrief
The Committee considered the evidence received and agreed to:
· write to S4C and Ofcom regarding free to air coverage of Wales’ autumn international rugby matches;
· invite the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to a future Committee meeting; and
· produce a short report on the future of Public Service Media in Wales.
